Custom Design your own Fishing Trip
Bow River Hookers offer single and multi-day trips. We offer one stop booking for a multitude of fishing opportunities in southern Alberta. We will stay on the water as long as you desire, and although not always possible, provide hot lunches of chili, stew, burgers, salads, etc. Be sure to ask about our wild game!
The bottom line is that we are flexible; if you would rather fish from a boat, from the shore, fish for 6 hours or 12, come for one day or one week ... we will design a trip that best suits your preferences. And don't forget our "Fish 'n Stay Vacation Packages"! Fly fishing adventures with a relaxing stay at the Blackfoot Inn and/or Glenmore Inn.
Our season runs from April to November, with peak activity occurring in July and August. Bow River Hookers practices catch-and-release. Fly fishing in the Bow River and its tributaries is usually interrupted for two weeks in June due to the runoff depending on the amount of snow pack.

All trips include pick up and return to either your hotel or a predetermined meeting place, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Unless specified, trips also include a hearty mid-day lunch, all flies, and any fishing gear needed for your trip. Not included are angling licenses and gratuities. A list of suggested items to bring will be provided upon booking. Prices are in Canadian funds and are for one or two anglers.
Upon receipt of the deposit for your trip, Bow River Hookers will send you an in-depth questionnaire so we are prepared for your arrival and can fashion your trip to meet your expectations. Only Bow River Hookers provides this kind of personalized service.
All bookings require a 50% deposit to secure your trip dates; the balance is due 14 days prior to the trip. Full refunds will be given on cancellations 60 days in advance or if, due to inclement weather, Bow River Hookers cancels the trip. 50% of deposits will be refunded on cancellations 30 to 60 days in advance. Trip dates may be changed within the calendar year, without penalty, on 30 days notice. Cancellations within 14 days or less of the trip will result in forfeiture of all funds.
